About me
Great to have you here and to introduce myself, the person behind Wetteland Consulting. I hope you find my story and experiences interesting — and perhaps relevant to the challenges you and your organization face.
I have always been fascinated by what makes people thrive, collaborate, and perform together. This curiosity has guided me throughout my career — from studying organizational psychology in California to leading leadership development and change initiatives in some of Norway’s most complex organizations. I believe that real development starts with people, and that safety, learning, and collaboration are the driving forces behind meaningful change.
Today, I lead Wetteland Consulting, helping leaders, teams, and organizations create real development — not just through plans, but through understanding, communication, and shared direction. For me, leadership is about people, and change is about trust.
I bring over 20 years of experience in consulting and HR, working with companies such as Equinor, Statnett, Aker BP, Norsk Tipping, Eramet, Archer Oiltools, Solstad Shipping, and Viking Supply Ships, as well as collaborating with NTNU and OsloMet. I have also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Stavanger on change management.
With a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s degree from Dowling College in New York, I combine strong academic expertise with hands-on experience in organizational and leadership development. I thrive as a sparring partner and facilitator — a trusted support who helps leaders and teams find effective solutions together.
Outside of work, I find energy in physical activity and endurance sports. I have completed 10 marathons, an Ironman 70.3, and a full Ironman, and understand the focus, discipline, and mental strength required to reach ambitious goals — values I bring into my work with leaders and organizations.
I am also engaged as a board member of Sandnes Ulf, and previously of Egersund IK, where I channel the same passion for team building, motivation, and performance culture that drives my professional work.
