About me

Great that you want to get to know the person behind Wetteland Consulting. I hope you find my story and experience interesting, and perhaps also relevant to the challenges you and your organization are facing.

I have always been fascinated by what makes people thrive, collaborate, and perform together. That curiosity has followed me throughout my career, from my studies in organizational psychology in California to leadership development and change work in some of Norway’s most complex organizations.

I believe in development that starts with people, and in trust, learning, and collaboration as drivers of real change.

Today, I run Wetteland Consulting, where I help leaders, teams, and organizations create real development. Not through plans alone, but through understanding, communication, and shared direction. To me, leadership is about people, and change is about trust.

I have 18 years of experience from consulting and HR, working with companies such as Equinor, Statnett, Aker BP, Norsk Tipping, Eramet, Archer Oiltools, Solstad Shipping, and Viking Supply Ships, as well as collaboration with NTNU and OsloMet. I have also been a guest lecturer in change management at the University of Stavanger.

With a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s degree from Dowling College in New York, I combine a strong academic foundation with practical experience in organizational and leadership development.

I am at my best in the role of sparring partner and facilitator: a trusted supporter who helps leaders and teams find good solutions together.

Outside work, I find energy in physical activity and endurance sports. I have completed 10 marathons, one Ironman 70.3, and one full Ironman. I know how much focused effort, discipline, and mental strength it takes to reach ambitious goals. These are values I also bring into my work with leaders and organizations.

As a football player, I played more than 300 senior matches for Egersund IK.

I am also engaged as a board member at Sandnes Ulf, and previously at Egersund IK, where I get to pursue the same passion for team building, motivation, and performance culture that also characterizes my work.
